Maanda Tshifularo

Maanda is a skilled strategist, innovator and leader. He has held management and executive roles at MTN SA, Discovery Health and 1Life Insurance.

Most recently, he was the Head of Dialdirect Insurance, where he successfully led a business turnaround and was also awarded the South African innovation of the year in the financial services category. Maanda’s experience includes working as a strategy management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and at McKinsey & Company.

Maanda has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL) from the Unisa School of Business Leadership, Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from Henley Business School, Postgraduate Diploma in Financial planning from Milpark Education, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Wits Business School. Additionally, Maanda has a qualification in Thought Leadership for Africa’s Renewal from the Thabo Mbeki Leadership Institute as well as Directorship certificate from the Institute of Directors Southern Africa.
